I am a patient with hemophilia and often need to take time off for medical appointments. Even at school, I have to follow my doctor’s orders, give myself injections, and take medication regularly. To ensure I could study without worries, the guidance counselor frequently communicated with me and my parents, informing my instructors about my health condition and offering assistance when I felt unwell.

Thanks to the Netting Educational Support Program and the individualized tutoring sessions after class, I could catch up on the academic progress I missed due to illness. The program also encouraged me to focus on my studies and apply for scholarships to alleviate the financial burden my medical treatments placed on my family.

I am sincerely grateful to the school and the the Netting Education Support Program donors, who have made my learning journey smoother. The resource classroom and the Netting Education Support Program not only helped me but also aimed to support many other students in need.
