Yuan Ze University's Donation Appreciation Policy

Article 1
The university has established these guidelines to express gratitude to individuals supporting education through donations.
Article 2
The university will periodically publish the names of donors or donating organizations and donation details on its website and related publications and will issue a letter of appreciation.
Article 3
The university will display a complete list of donation amounts in the history room. An annual donor list will be published, and individuals donating over NT$1,000,000 will be permanently displayed.
Article 4
Methods for thanking donors are as follows:
1. The university will acknowledge all donors on the donation list on its website.
2. Donors of NT$10,000 or more will receive a letter of appreciation from the principal.
3. Donors of NT$100,000 or more will receive a certificate of appreciation and a letter from the principal.
4. Donors of NT$1,000,000 or more will receive a commemorative item and a letter from the principal.
5. Donors of NT$3,000,000 or more will receive a commemorative item and a letter from the chairman.
6. Donors of NT$10,000,000 or more will receive a commemorative item, a letter from the chairman, a commemorative plaque in the university history hall, and honorary alumni status.
7. Donors of NT$30,000,000 or more will receive special acknowledgment on a case-by-case basis.
Article 5
Those who donate towards the construction of university buildings or facilities will be granted honorary alumni status and may request to name the building or facility. Building names require approval from the University Affairs Committee and the Board of Directors, with specific donation standards set separately.
Article 6
When cumulative donations meeting the thresholds specified above, the university will acknowledge donors according to the same guidelines.
Article 7
For teaching or research-related equipment donations, the university will display the donating organization’s name on the items. Depending on the value, the university will acknowledge donors according to the relevant guidelines. The university will submit donations that meet the Ministry of Education’s "Guidelines for Rewarding Educational Contributions" for government recognition.
Article 8
The University respects the donor’s preference for acknowledgment. The university will ensure strict confidentiality if a donor prefers not to be publicly recognized.
Article 9
These guidelines were approved by the Education Resource Development Fund Committee during Administrative Meetings and implemented after authorization from the chairman. The same procedure applies to amendments.
