Dear Friends of Yuan Ze University,

It is an honor to assume the role of the sixth president of Yuan Ze University.

Since its founding, Yuan Ze University has received support and assistance from many industries, cultivating many talented individuals. Through the diligent efforts of all faculty and students, we have launched numerous distinctive and innovative programs that have earned wide recognition and established a strong reputation.

Yuan Ze, initially known for its College of Engineering, is now 33 . Renowned for its information and communications programs, the university is building an innovative campus in response to the rise of artificial intelligence. With a commitment to integrity, diligence, simplicity, and prudence, Yuan Ze will continue to enhance its reputation, attract and retain excellent faculty, strengthen international exchanges, and nurture outstanding talent suited for the new era. We aim is to equip students with cultural literacy, global mobility, and cross-disciplinary learning abilities. The university is also actively establishing a College of Medicine and Health Sciences, marking a new opportunity for comprehensive development toward a multi-faceted institution.

In the post-pandemic era, economies and lifestyles have entered a new normal, with many activities shifting to digital formats. During the pandemic, we adapted to a zero-barrier, hybrid teaching environment, combining online and in-person instruction for international, Chinese, and overseas students who could not return in time for classes. We also expanded volunteer activities within local communities, elder care facilities, and remote regions, with Yuan Ze's volunteer teams spreading kindness and care throughout society.

As government educational resources have become limited in recent years, universities have had to raise more funds independently. Yuan Ze is deeply grateful to companies and philanthropists passionate about education who have generously donated to enrich educational resources, sponsor academic and extracurricular activities, and provide scholarships, greatly benefiting our students and adding love and warmth to our campus. We offer our heartfelt gratitude for your dedication to education. We invite your continued support to help economically disadvantaged or needy students, ensuring they do not lose educational opportunities due to environmental or inherent limitations.

In the era of low birth rates, Yuan Ze University faces new challenges and requires more support and resources from alumni, businesses, and the community. We hope you continue to empower us and allow Yuan Ze to strive forward steadily and constantly to improve. Your support is our greatest motivation for progress!
